We blend our words and thoughts through our messaging. The right combination of words can spark an emotional connection with those who receive it.

Is the world a better place because of you, or in spite of you? That’s the question I ask myself daily. I create content because I want to make a difference. I want to give back. Yes, of course I promote, but what drives me is helping others. And without promotion, I lose the platform to give.

Most content creators pour their heart and soul into their messages, only to receive negative feedback or messages being misunderstood or lost on those who view it. Often content viewers are distracted, barely paying attention, or ready to move onto the next message that might be more entertaining or engaging.

Content creation is an investment of time and resources, but requires creativity, emotions, and caring. Yes, many messages are purely a sales pitch, but for the givers, it means so much more. It means sharing a mission, making a difference, impacting just one more person, or it means giving hope.

If I use humor to draw you in, will you take me seriously? If I give instructions to help you advance, will you stay tuned in? If I provide facts, will you retain them? It seems creating content can be a never-ending rabbit hole of self-doubt. Am I doing the right thing to reach you? Is my message getting through? Am I making a difference?

In the end, I create content because I care. It’s one of the many ways I give back. Now as I ask myself the question, “Is the world a better place because of you?”, if I reach just one person, the answer is yes. You owe it to the world to share your message of hope and opportunity.

As a business owner, my brand is the foundation that allows me to share. It allows me to leave a lasting impression on the world in my own way. It’s why I chose digital marketing. It’s why I created Sellience, because I want to help others find their voice and grow their own foundation. Together we CAN make the world a better place.

The above is the script for my recent video, which has been getting great feedback. Why? Because it shows promotion doesn’t have to be a dirty word. We can make the world better by building a solid platform to promote and grow. You can view the video here: https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:6526084033733021698

Welcome to Sellience. Let us show you how your content strategy isn’t just a tool for success, but a platform for change.
